RV-4162-C7 Serie - Ultra Small Size RTC

The RV-4162-C7 is a real-time clock with integrated quartz in an extremely small package with the following dimensions: 3.2mm x 1.5mm x 0.8mm.

Main Features:

  • RTC module with built-in “Tuning Fork” crystal oscillating at 32.768 kHz
  • Ultra low power consumption: 350nA typ @ VDD = 3.0V
  • Wide clock operating voltage: 1.0 – 4.4V

RV-8523-C3 Serie - Ultra Low Power RTCs

The RV-8523-C3 Series has been specially designed to achieve an ultra-low power consumption of typically 130nA at 3.0V in time keeping mode.

The internal offset compensation register offers the possibility to achieve a accuracy of up to ±3 ppm at 25°C.

RV-2123-C2 Serie - Ultra Low Power RTCs

The RV-2123-C2 Series has been specially designed to achieve an ultra-low power consumption of typically 130nA at 3.0V in time keeping mode.

The internal offset compensation register offers the possibility to achieve an accuracy of up to ±3 ppm at 25°C.

RV-30x9-C2/C3 Serie - Extremely Accurate RTCs

The main feature of the RV-30x9-C2/C3 series is the extremely temperature stable time function with a discrepancy of maximal ±25 ppm at -40°C to +85°C for option B parts or ±6 ppm at -40°C to +85°C for option A parts. These real time clocks are available with SPI- or I²C-Interface.

This part can be used as replacement part for the Epson RX-8564CF.

The RV-8564 series is suitable for low power applications. This real time clock need just 250nA at a supply voltage of 3.0V and has an I²C interface.

RV-1805-C3 Serie - Ultra Low Power RTC Module

The RV-1805-C3 RTC module (with integrated quartz crystal) is setting new standard for ultra-low current consumption. 60nA current consumption in the crystal oscillator mode is extremely impressive. However the RV-1805-C3 also has an even lower current (17nA) mode using an RC oscillator that is periodically calibrated to the crystal reference. Calibration of the RC oscillator is also programmable to allow for best precision or lowest current consumption depending on the system requirements.

This Low Power RTC is targeted at high-volume battery-powered applications where the low current consumption has a significant impact on the product performance.

RV-8803-C7 Serie - High Performance Real Time Clock

The RV-8803-C7 is the first temperature compensated RTC optimized for ultra-low power consumption to replace expensive batteries and super caps with low cost MLCC capacitors for battery backup operation.

The current consumption of 240nA and operation down to 1.5V significantly increases the operational life of backup supplies and allows for potential use of low cost MLCC capacitors as a short term backup solution. All this while providing accuracy of ±3.0 ppm (±0.26 seconds/day) over a temperature range of ­‑40° to +85°C.  In addition to the lowest current and best accuracy of all temperature-compensated RTCs, the RV-8803-C7 also has the smallest ceramic package in the industry with an integrated 32.768 KHz quartz crystal.
