Geehy – APM32 Microcontroller, Bluetooth SoC and more

Geehy Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is part of Ninestar Corporation, which also owns Lexmark. Geehy now brings over 20 years of experience in the development of application-specific semiconductor products for the printer market (within Apex Microelectronics) to standard microcontrollers.

The portfolio is constantly being expanded for the consumer, industrial and medical sectors, and even more for automotive applications.

Product overview APM32 microcontroller family

As a licensee of ARM, the microcontrollers of the APM32 series are based on Cortex-M0+, Cortex-M3 and Cortex-M4 (with FPU) cores. For applications requiring high performance, Cortex-M7 based controllers are under development. In addition to this architecture, RISC-V and T-head cores are also in the focus of development.

The overview on the left shows Geehy’s current product portfolio. In addition to the standard microcontrollers already mentioned, which were introduced to the market in 2019 to 2021 and the automotive types in 2022, Geehy will concentrate fully on the low-power and motor control areas in 2023. First samples are planned for the end of Q2 / beginning of Q3 2023. Unlike other microcontroller manufacturers, Geehy currently supports new developments in Europe with short delivery times (between 6-8 weeks) and an attractive pricing policy.
