Neoway – GN GNSS Modules

Neoway LTE/IoT modules are already widely used in the Asian market and are becoming more and more popular in Europe. Now Neoway is also launching in the field of positioning. Neoway – GN GNSS Modules: Neoway introduced this new and broad range at the end of 2023.

The GNSS market is growing rapidly. According to the EUSPA, which is responsible for the operation of Galileo, among other things, over 10 billion devices with GNSS functions will be active in 2031. This means that the market value will increase by a factor of around 2.5 in 10 years. Position tracking using GNSS is therefore a future-proof application in which Neoway is investing now.

Neoway Technology closely follows market developments and focuses Neoway – GN GNSS Modules - Familyon the development of innovative products – meaning different modules optimized for different applications. These modules are designed for different areas such as logistics tracking, vehicle navigation, vehicle monitoring, robotics, spatial surveillance and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). In general, they all offer high precision and reliability and are tailored to the requirements of different world regions and scenarios. To meet every requirement, Neoway has now launched 9 different modules.

The G-mouse Dual-Frequency Positioning Module – GN01


The Neoway G-mouse dual frequency positioning module GN01 integrates the antenna and RF capabilities, significantly reducing costs and simplifying client-side signal matching. It is ideal for applications in the fields of vehicle navigation, logistics tracking, drones and two-wheelers.

  • Supports the L1+L5 frequency bands
  • Compatible with GPS, BDS, INRSS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS
  • Supports AGPS/DGPS/SBAS(WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS/GAGAN)
  • Integrated low-noise amplifier & SAW filter
  • Enables autonomous switching to external antenna

Neoway – GN GNSS Modules GN01


The “Dual-Frequency Standard Precision” modules – GN02, GN03


The GN02 and GN03 modules provide a cost-effective positioning and navigation solution suitable for vehicle navigation, IoT, logistics tracking, vehicle monitoring and various other applications. The modules enable independent positioning with one system as well as joint positioning with multiple systems and additional positioning with assisted GNSS.

  • Provides sub-meter positioning accuracy.
  • Supports the L1+L5 frequency bands
  • A very compact design in established form factors
    • The GN02 measures 12.2 x 16.0 x 2.4mm
    • The GN03 measures 10.1 x 9.7 x 2.5mm
  • Compatible with GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Galileo, IRNSS, QZSS satellite system


The “Single-Frequency Standard Precision” modules – GN05, GN06


The GN05 and GN06 combine low power consumption with high performance and ensure fast and long-lasting position detection, for example in forests and mountains. The low-power features make them well suited for e-bikes, IoT, logistics tracking, vehicle monitoring and more. The GN06 also shows exceptional performance in power applications.

  • These modules also have a small established form factor:
    • The GN05 measures 12.2 x 16.0 x 2.4 mm
    • The GN06 measures 10.1 x 9.7 x 2.5 mm
  • Supports BDS B1I, B1C and GPS L1C/A frequencies
  • With active antenna detection and protection
  • Power consumption typ: 15µA (Sleep) 16mA (Active) @ 3.3V

Neoway – GN GNSS Modules GN06 GN05


 

The “Inertial Navigation” module – GN09


The GN09 is an integrated GNSS+INS positioning module that supports GPS, BDS and QZSS satellite signals. By combining GNSS positioning and an integrated 6D IMU, it provides continuous data output in environments with poor GNSS signal quality, such as in tunnels, under overpasses and in underground parking lots. The GN09 is suitable for vehicle navigation, intelligent cockpits, vehicle networking and as a T-box.

It is available as a dual-band (L1+L5) or single-band (L1) version.


 

The “High Precision” modules – GN07, GN08, GN10


The GN07 module is characterized by a good fix rate and accuracy in covered scenarios and provides precise positioning data, making it ideal for robotics, geographic analysis and smart agriculture by

  • Support of L1+L2 or L1+L5 dual band support

The GN08 module is a high-precision raw data module that is compatible with external Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) algorithms and services. It supports all common global navigation satellite systems, and its dual RF configuration enables reception of GNSS signals with multiple frequencies and systems.

  • Both the GN07 and GN08 support BDS, GPS, Galileo, QZSS
  • Alternatively also with RAW data output for RTK systems

The GN10 module is intended for high-precision positioning using a multi-system RTK system that achieves accuracy in the centimeter range. It supports GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS and is ideal for urban canyons and dense foliage.

  • Integrated single-frequency RTK engine for centimeter-accurate position detection
