The Crypto family also supports the Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-2), Advance Encryption Standard (AES), and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) cryptographic algorithms.

Every CryptoAuthentication part is provided with a pre-programmed unique serial number.

The Microchip CryptoMemory® family offers a range of cost-efficient, high-security electrically erasable programmable read-only memory chips (EEPROMs) and host-side security for applications requiring comprehensive data protection, including mutual authentication between devices and host.
