ATTEND FAKRA connectors and cable assemblies are designed for robust RF connections. They operate in a frequency range from DC to 6 GHz, feature an impedance of 50 Ω, and comply with ISO 20860-1/2, SAE/USCAR-2 and USCAR-17. A durable plastic housing protects against vibration, temperature changes and moisture. The specified operating temperature range is −40 °C to +105 °C.
The family offers 13 colour-coded versions as well as a neutral version. Mechanical coding prevents mismating. Available options include 1×1 and 1×2 configurations, as well as straight and right-angle connectors for through-hole PCB mounting.
Mini FAKRA is a particularly compact RF connector family. Compared with the FAKRA form factor, ATTEND reduces space requirements by up to 80%. The impedance is 50 Ω, while frequencies from DC to 9 GHz are supported. ATTEND Mini FAKRA connectors are available in single, dual and quad configurations, including 1×1, 1×2 and 2×2 variants.
For mechanical protection, 13 colour and coding options are also available, along with a neutral coding option. These solutions likewise comply with ISO 20860-1/2, SAE/USCAR-2 and USCAR-17 and are designed for temperatures from −40 °C to +105 °C.
Within this product family, ATTEND offers a FAKRA-to-SMB adapter as well as an SMB connector for PCB mounting, providing a secure connection between camera modules and coaxial vehicle networks.
The 50 Ω coaxial solution ensures impedance continuity for high-frequency signal transmission.
Effective shielding and secure mechanical retention provide a reliable connection between the camera and ECU in harsh automotive environments.
ATTEND HSD and HS-MTP connectors are designed for differential high-speed data connections with a 100 Ω impedance.
The product families feature high mechanical robustness. Integrated mechanical polarization protection prevents incorrect mating, and the connectors are approved for operating temperatures from −40 °C to +105 °C.
ATTEND positions these families for use with signals based on established standards such as Ethernet, including up to 10GBASE-T1 / IEEE 802.3ch, USB and general LVDS signals. HS-MTP supports signal transmission at frequencies of up to 20 GHz and is therefore suitable for demanding ADAS applications.
ATTEND OBD2 connectors are widely used in diagnostic and data-interface applications. Robust housings and secure connector geometry support stable signal transmission, minimize degradation caused by repeated mating cycles and increase service life.
The product family includes Type A, Type B and Type A/B female versions. Termination and mounting options include solder versions, right-angle DIP variants and overmoulded cable assemblies. Naturally, the connectors meet the requirements of the OBD-II diagnostic standard.
ATTEND’s Automotive USB Type-C product family combines high-speed data transmission and power delivery in a compact interface.
The USB4 Gen3 standard is supported, enabling data rates of up to 40 Gbit/s and power delivery in accordance with USB Power Delivery 3.1 of up to 5 A at 48 V (240 W). These connectors comply with the USCAR-2 standard.
For reliable use in vehicles, these solutions are designed to withstand vibration and shock and are equipped with additional locking mechanisms.
The use of UL94 V-0 high-temperature plastic, gold-plated contacts and chemically resistant TPE cable jackets ensures reliable operation under particularly harsh conditions. The permitted operating temperature range is also −40 °C to +105 °C.
