Microchip’s new generation of PoE Powered Devices (PD) ICs for IoT Applications, PD70xx series


Our PD ICs, available with or without integrated Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) controllers, are compact solutions for converting Power over Ethernet (PoE) input power into one or more output voltages in a PD. Our IdealBridge™ dual-pack MOSFET-based full-bridge rectifier protects against reverse-polarity connections while reducing power consumption and space requirements and improving improving thermal performance in a variety of applications, including:

  • WLAN access points
  • 5G small cells
  • Network cameras
  • LED lighting
  • IoT appliances
  • IP telephones
