HopeRF – RS485 Wireless Bridge – HM-TRP-RS485: Founded in 2004, HopeRF offers wireless solutions based on various widely used standards – both simple and complex requirements. Sensors for environmental measurements are also available – all priced very attractively.

Receivers, transmitters, and transceivers for the ISM bands represent a large product group within their wireless solutions.

The HM-TRP-RS485 module enables an RS-485 connection through an ISM radio link with the carrier frequencies 433, 470, 868, and 915 MHz.

HopeRF is known for both – generic and specialized solutions. The HM-TRP-RS485 RS485 bridge module combines many years of experience in implementing ISM radio communication links with the RS-485 standard. This module uses highly interference-resistant FSK modulation.

The maximum output power is 100 mW (20 dBm). The output power can be configured between 1 and 20 dBm to optimize power consumption. Power consumption in sleep mode is only approx. 1 µA. The receiver path has a sensitivity of -117 dBm.

The data communication speed can be adjusted between 1.2 kbps and 115.2 kbps. The operating temperature range covers -40°C to +85°C, making these modules suitable for industrial use.

In addition to the RS-485 solution presented here, HopeRF also offers an RS-232 variant.
