eCompass

With its eCompass family BMC156, BMC150, BMC056 and BMC050 Bosch Sensortec started a new portfolio of high precision MEMS sensors for compass applications in mobile phones, navigation system and other portable devices.
Two separate sensors are integrated within the LGA package: a triaxial magnetometer for geomagnetic field detection and a triaxial accelerometer for tilt compensation.

Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)

In a trend-setting move for the consumer electronics industry, Bosch Sensortec has integrated two triaxial MEMS sensors in a single package. This combination of an acceleration sensor and a gyroscope yields the BMI055, the smallest Inertial Measurement Unit in the market.
