MAS(Micro Analog Systems) has a long history designing AD converters for use as signal interface IC's to Piezo resistive and capacitive MEMS pressure-, temperature- and humidity-sensors. Most of those designs have been ASIC's but MAS is now coming with a number of standard IC's that can be used to interface many different sensors.
Both ICs are designed especially to meet the requirement for low power consumption, thus making it an ideal choice for battery powered systems. Their 256-bit EEPROM memory stores trimming and calibration coefficients on chip. |

The MAS6502 is a 14 bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) designed for Piezo resistive sensor modules.
The MAS6510 is a capacitive sensor signal conditioner IC, capable to interface both single and differential capacitance sensors. It uses a 24-bit Capacitance-to-Digital Converter, which employs a delta-sigma (ΔΣ) conversion technique. The output can be proportional either to capacitance difference or to capacitance ratio.
