MB91F467S - First microcontroller with embedded APIX transmitter
|

Fujitsu`s MB91F467S, the first MCU with embedded Automotive Pixel Link interface(APIX) is the perfect counterpart to Fujitsu`s graphics controller MB88F332 to build a modular hybrid instrument cluster, with separated control and display units.
MB91F467S can remotly control the peripherals on MB88F332 via the bi-directional pixel data to MB88F332 via the main link.
At 100MHz system clock it offers enough performance to remotely control up to 2 display units connected via APIX and handle various other tasks in parallel.
- FR CPU core with Watchdog,Bit Search unit and On-Chip Debug Support for monitor debugging
- 1088KB on-chip flash(16 sectors of 64KB, 8 sectors of 8KB)
- 64KB on-chip RAM(32KB dedicated data RAM, 32KB data/instruction RAM)
- APIX transmitter with automotive shell(licensed from INOVA Semiconductors) and remote handler to support 2 sideband links(6Mbit/s each) and 1 APIX physical layer(105Mbit/s)
- Various other communication interfaces(CAN, LIN, I2C)
- A variety of timers
- Graphics data can be read either from internal flash or RAM or via the external bus interface from an external memory and sent on via APIX
- The APIX interface is connected to the internal bus system in such a way that DMA transfer from e.g. an external memory to the APIX link, can be done without disturbing the PCU
- The APIX interface on MB91F467S features 2 pairs of APIX sideband channels, so that 2 APIX receivers can be controlled
- The automotive shell ensures the required safety of all transmissions between the connected devices. CRC, ARQ management and go-back-n protocol, ensure error-free communication
- The remote handler serves as hardware accelerator for the control of up to two remote devices.
